About The Pack

The pack is an important social structure for dogs: but it is also a source of joy and meaning. Like the Arctic sled dog team run by Colin, Sharen and Tyler McPhan.

In this 4-minute documentary film we meet the dogs and their three owners and begin to understand the special bond that is forged between the dogs who are loved and the owners who work them.

Some Arctic dogs are not so lucky. Many are abandoned and few make it through rescue. This short documentary is for them too.

The Pack is showing as a prelude to the Dinner Plain Film Festival on 26 January 2017.

The Pack was filmed on location at Dinner Plain in Victoria's Alpine Shire.

A public link to the film will be published here after it has screened.
